Two of the four Kiwi halfpipe men, Nico and Miguel Porteous, have qualified through to the men’s freeski halfpipe finals to be held on Saturday.

A further eight snow sport athletes have been named to the New Zealand Team for the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games.

NZ freeskier Miguel Porteous has claimed the first World Cup medal of his career, claiming silver at the FIS Freeski Halfpipe World Cup at Copper Mountain in the USA.
