Campbell Wright was the top placed New Zealander on the first day of cross country ski racing at The Snow Farm as part of the Audi quattro Winter Games NZ today.

Cross country skier Campbell Wright was more than a little surprised to find himself on the podium at the Ontario Cup in Duntroon, Canada over the weekend. The fourteen-year-old skier from Wanaka didn’t even have his own skis or boots with him but decided to borrow equipment from family friends and sign up for the race.
