Gustav Legnavsky (Wānaka, 16) has won the freeski halfpipe Junior World Championships held overnight in Leysin, Switzerland.
Two of the four Kiwi halfpipe men, Nico and Miguel Porteous, have qualified through to the men’s freeski halfpipe finals to be held on Saturday.
A further eight snow sport athletes have been named to the New Zealand Team for the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games.
