NZ freeride athletes dominated the podiums at The North Face Frontier 4* held as part of the Winter Games NZ

Kiwis took a clean sweep of the Men's Freeski podium with Finn Bilous 1st, Ben Richards 2nd, Manu Barnard 3rd. While Ronan Thompson claimed the win in Men's Snowboard.

Ben Barclay claimed the win in the Men’s Freeski ANC. Ruby Andrews finished second in Women’s Freeski, and Luca Harrington third in Men’s Freeski. 

Kiwi Piera Hudson continued her strong form from the recent ANC races in Hotham, Australia and wasn’t letting an altercation with a gate midway down the first run of yesterday’s race prevent her from charging into third place.  

Mitch topped his heats at the ANC Snowboard Slopestyle Qualifiers, stepping up to land a new competition run.

Alice Robinson was awarded the Janey Blair Memorial Trophy as the fastest finishing New Zealand female, second overall in the ANC Giant Slalom held as part of the Winter Games NZ today.

Piera Hudson has wrapped up the Mt Hotham ANC series with her third podium, finishing in third place in the Giant Slalom.

The finals of the Spy Optics NZ Freestyle Open RookieFest Slopestyle took place at Cardrona today with Gustav Legnavsky achieving the top result amongst NZ men, finishing sixth in the 12-man final. Women’s finals were cancelled due to wind meaning that Ruby Andrews  would finish second in women’s ski based on qualifying results.

Alice Robinson and Willis Feasey were crowned National Slalom Champions today, on the final day of the New Zealand Alpine National Championships at Coronet Peak.

 A strong international field of 84 racers battled it out on the course set on The Hurdle run with Willis Feasey emerging as the NZ National GS Champion.

Alice Robinson has carried through her success from the northern hemisphere season to home snow, winning the NZ National Women’s Giant Slalom Championship title at her training ground of Coronet Peak. 

The southern hemisphere competition season is off to a good start for the NZ Park & Pipe team with freeskiers Jackson Wells and Ben Barclay claiming two medals apiece at ANC Big Air competitions in Australia.
