The first of the Audi quattro Winter Games NZ World Cups got underway at Cardrona Alpine Resort near Wanaka today with qualifying rounds of the freeski slopestyle. NZ's Finn Bilous and Jackson Wells just missed out on the cut for finals, finishing 5th and 6th respectively in their heat.

Good morning racers - the final days of the Coronet Peak National Youth Series Races (NZYS) have been cancelled due to heavy snow and strong winds.

Adam Barwood successfully defended his national Slalom title and fifteen-year-old Alice Robinson went two from two to claim the women’s Slalom title as well as the Giant Slalom title earned on Monday.

New Zealand’s top alpine ski racers were back in action today at Queenstown’s Coronet Peak ski area for The Coronet Cup Giant Slalom.  It would prove to be a challenging day’s racing with many top ranked racers failing to finish their two runs.

The New Zealand Alpine National Championships got underway in Queenstown today with the Giant Slalom (GS) first on the agenda.  Alice Robinson and Willis Feasey were crowned national champions.  

The first International Ski Federation (FIS) races of the season wrapped up today at Cardrona Alpine Resort with New Zealand skiers consistently recording top results throughout the four-day series.
