Over the next couple of years Luca continued to climb the ranks through the North American Cup, European Cup and Australia New Zealand Cup competition circuits, choosing to focus on Slopestyle and Big Air.

In 2023 he matched New Zealand's best ever Freeski Big Air World Championships result, with a 5th place in Bakuriani, Georgia. Luca was awarded the Snow Sports New Zealand Freeski Athlete of the Year accolade in 2023.

In 2024 Luca secured his career-first World Cup podium in Silvaplana before going on to absolutely dominate across the 2025 season. He came away from the 2025 season as Freeski Big Air World Champion, Freeski Big Air Crystal Globe holder and the X Games Slopestyle Gold Medallist 2025.
