Zoi Sadowski-Synnott has finished in sixth place at the Burton US Open.

Day two of the 38th annual Burton U·S·Open Snowboarding Championships went off in ideal conditions with NZ's Rakai Tait among the  top 10 qualifiers in the  halfpipe semi-finals.

Defending champion Zoi Sadowski-Synnott put down the highest scoring run in the qualifying rounds of the Burton US Open Snowboarding Championships Slopestyle in Vail, Colorado on Thursday morning NZT time.

The 2020 Junior Jam Presented by Clif Bar & Company kicked off the first day of competition at the 38th Annual Burton U·S·Open Snowboarding Championships today with NZ's Campbell Melville Ives finishing in third place . 

A win at the Open Faces four-star Freeride World Qualifier in Silvretta-Montafon, Austria on Sunday means that NZ snowboarder Claire McGregor has now qualified for the Freeride World Tour.

Tiarn Collins topped the podium at the Calgary Snow Rodeo on Sunday and says after almost two years out with injury, “It feels good to be back competing and a win is insane.”

Finn Bilous has finished 5th in the Freeski Slopestyle World Cup in Calgary. "I’m stoked with how today went," said Finn.

Alice Robinson has claimed the second World Cup win of her career. The eighteen-year-old skied to Giant Slalom victory in Giant Slalom in Slovenia.

NZ Para Alpine skiers Corey Peters and Aaron Ewen continue to perform well at the World Para Alpine races in Kimberley, Canada.

New Zealand's Para Alpine Ski racers have been on medal-winning form at World Para Alpine Ski Races at Park City Resort in the USA.

The Freeride Junior World Championships went off last night (NZT) with 61 of the world’s best young big mountain riders putting on a show in Kappl, Austria. 

Nico Porteous has finished fourth in the men’s Ski Superpipe on the final day of competition at X Games Aspen. Saving his best until last, Nico’s fourth run included a trick never before landed in competition, a double cork 1620.

Zoi Sadowski-Synnott has finished fifth in the Jeep Women’s Snowboard Slopestyle at X Games Aspen.

Zoi Sadowski-Synnott has finished fourth in the X Games Snowboard Big Air in what was the most progressive display of women’s snowboarding ever seen.

 

Freeskiers Ben Barclay and Luca Harrington, as well as snowboarder Mitch Davern were in action in the big air on the final day of competition at Lausanne 2020.

Luca Harrington has clocked up some massive airtime in the Lausanne 2020 halfpipe to claim a bronze medal at the Winter Youth Olympic Games.
