Flachauwinkl, Austria (20 March 2016) - Fresh off the back of his fourth place finish at the Burton Open, Christchurch snowboarder Carlos Garcia Knight has finished in second place at The Spring Battle in Flachauwinkl, Austria. This 5-star TTR event has a unique competition and judging format whereby the 80 competitors are given a week to film their best run on the slopestyle course.
"It was such a fun event, having seven days to film your run, it feels like a good session with your friends on an amazing course rather than a contest where you have pressure on you to perform at a specific time," explains Carlos. "I just wanted to put down a good looking run and I'm stoked on what I submitted in the end!"
Carlos finished in second place with British rider Billy Morgan in first and Seppe Smit of Belgium third. Watch his run below.
