Dunedin, New Zealand (19 May 2017) - Snowboarder Tiarn Collins (Queenstown) has been named Steve Mowat Building & Construction Ltd Junior Sportsman of the Year at the ASB Otago Sports Awards.
Tiarn achieved outstanding results in the qualifying period 1 April 2016 - 31 March 2017 including a bronze medal at the FIS Junior World Snowboard Championships in the Czech Republic in March.
"I'm honoured to be named Otago Junior Sportsman of the Year," says Tiarn. "I had an epic season this year and this really tops it off."
