RACE NOTICE:

Friday 6th: Super-G

Saturday 7th: Giant Slalom

Sunday 8th: Slalom

ELIGIBILITY:

These races are open to U14-U19 athletes who hold a current SSNZ Alpine National Points Membership.

 

  • Race entry is open to all SSNZ registered athletes in age categories U14, U16 and U19.
  • U19 athletes may race in the NYC race, but no national titles for this age group are available at NYC competitions. The discipline and overall National Champion titles are awarded for U21 age group athletes at the NJC.
  • Certificates will be awarded to the first three finishers in each discipline regardless of nationality.
  • The New Zealand titles and appropriate trophies will be awarded to the top U14 and U16 NZ finishers. Only U14 and U16 age group athletes are eligible for the NZ Alpine Youth Champion (NYC) titles.
  • The title of Overall NZ Alpine Youth Champion (NYC) will be presented to the NZ athlete who has the lowest race points after all disciplines have been completed.
ENTRY:

In the event of registration cancellation or withdrawal a $2 admin fee and bank fee of 4% will be deducted from the refund.

SEED ORDER:

Athlete will be seeded according to NZCR National Points rules within their gender/age categories

A first group of a maximum of the 15 best competitors present will be drawn.

The group may be increased if two or more competitors share the 15th rank.

All remaining competitors start in points order.

The start positions for competitors without points are randomly drawn and these competitors start after the point holders.
