Far East Cup Win for Piera Hudson in China

Wanlong Ski Resort, China (4 December 2018) – Alpine ski racer Piera Hudson has claimed a win in the Slalom on day one of the Far East Cup series in Wanlong Ski Resort, China.

In a competitive field, Piera finished 0.05s ahead of Asa Ando (JPN) in second place and 0.30s ahead of Martina Dubovska (CZE) in third. Martina Dubovska recently placed ninth in a World Cup Slalom race in Levi, Finland while Asa Ando finished 18th in the Killington, USA Slalom World Cup last weekend.

The race series continues at Wanlong Ski Resort tomorrow with another Slalom, followed by two days of Giant Slalom races. Piera will be looking to replicate or better her successful 2018 FEC results which included a first and a third place at Wanlong last year as well as three first places in Taiwoo, China.
