George Bridgewater, MNZM

George is a three time Olympian, winning a bronze medal in Beijing 2008. His experience within NZ’s highly successful Olympic rowing program between 2000 and 2016 yields an understanding of high performance.

Aside from his sporting career, George developed a commercial experience in finance, economics and strategy. He worked for Morgan Stanley in Hong Kong and Singapore as an equities trader and is also a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA).

Currently he is Managing Director of Nano Clear South Island, and has previously held positions as Trustee of the Braemar Charitable Trust and Future Director with the Halberg Foundation. George attended the University of Oxford to complete a Master of Business Administration (Distinction). During his time he was part of the winning crew in the 155th Oxford vs Cambridge Boatrace in London 2009.

George and his family have had an active 30+ year association with the snow and Southern Alps, along with the breathtaking activities they offer - and as a result now lives in Wanaka.
