Brad Prosser


Brad is a Freeski Pathways Coach working with the Snow Sports NZ National Development Team. Brad has been working with freeski athletes for over 20 years.

He has been a private coach to many of the world's, best including  Winter Olympic and X Games gold medalist Eileen Gu and 3 x Winter Olympic medalist and 4 x X Games Gold medalist Nick Geopper.

Brad has also worked alongside the US Freeski Team, been the head coach to the Chinese Olympic Halfpipe Team and coached other notable athletes such as Kelly Sildaru (EST), Ryan Stevenson (USA), Troy Podmilsak (USA), Alex Hackel (USA),  Zhang Kexin (CHN) and Li Fanghui (CHN).

Brad was awarded the Order of Ikkos from the USA Olympic Committee as a symbol of excellence in coaching, and was the Snow Sports NZ Coach of the Year in 2021.

Starting his ski career as a professional athlete, Brad has won New Zealand National titles in Freeskiing for Slopestyle and Halfpipe. He completed a Canadian freeski coaching certificate in the early 2000's, allowing Brad to do weekend work as a coach up at Cardrona working with the then young up and comers, including Jossiah, Byron & Beau Wells. 

Highly passionate about sports in general, Brad is always striving  to push the growth of Freeskiing and is excited to now directly do so for New Zealand athletes.
