To our snow sports communities,
We are very pleased to be moving back to Alert Level 2 and life getting somewhat closer to ‘normal’. We hope that you and your loved ones have managed okay over the past few weeks. It has certainly been a difficult time and, of course, there are still challenges ahead. Being able to reconnect safely with family, friends, work mates and the wider community makes a big difference, as does the ability to get back to our sports.

Snow Sports NZ Office and Training Facilities
Now that we are operating at Level 2 some of our staff will be returning to work at our Wanaka office from Monday 18th May 2020 while others continue to work remotely. Just like every other business, we will be following strict health and safety protocols in order to keep ourselves, our athletes, and the wider community safe. We are here to assist you and to answer any questions but kindly ask that for now, you hold off visiting us in person. Please phone or email us and let us know how we can help. Here’s a list of staff contact details.

The overriding message from Sport NZ in terms of getting back to sport and training is to ‘play it safe’ and we are taking this advice very seriously. Follow this link for more info from Sport NZ on play, active recreation and sport at Alert Level 2.

The HPSNZ gym and training facilities will be open to carded athletes only from Monday 18 May. In consultation with HPSNZ we will look to open up our training facilities to more athletes as changes are made to limits on gathering numbers and other restrictions.
