F.I.S Seminar, T.D. & Race Officials Update

8th June 2019

The annual TD and race officials’ update will be held:

Saturday 8th June – 09:30 – 16:00

FIS TD Update AM Session

NZ TD Update PM Session

Rawhiti Estate

14 Rangitoto Ave,

Remuera,

Auckland 1050

The FIS Inspector for this year is the Australia and New Zealand TD Commissioner, Peter May (AUS)

ATTENDANCE

We are obliged to follow the programme supplied by FIS for the AM session.

According to FIS rules all FIS TDs must attend. Occasional absence is excused providing it is not two consecutive years. TD Candidates and Aspirants are also expected to attend, as are all Chief of Race and Race secretaries of NZ events on the FIS and SSNZ calendar. We also strongly recommend attendance to all race officials and those intending to help at events. Coaches are very welcome; especially those who wish to qualify as Referees. This is the only opportunity in the year to attend a seminar with all interested parties present and expert advice to hand. It is vital to keep abreast of safety regulations and new rules. We must ensure (for the sake of the athletes as well as ourselves) that we are all following the same procedures regardless of event levels.

ICR and NZCR

The latest version of the ICR Book IV is available on the FIS website.
