Erika Harris

 

Erika has been passionate about skiing and racing since she was a little girl. She grew up skiing at Whakapapa Ski Field, her family members of Boomerang Ski Club, before moving to Queenstown in 1999, to ski full time.  Erika was a member of the New Zealand National Team from 1995-2006, she won a number of National and Australasian titles and represented New Zealand at the 2006 Olympic Winter Games.

Erika has two children who train with QAST (U12, U10 age groups) and a very keen 4 year old.

Erika is passionate about what the sport of ski racing offers our young New Zealand athletes and she is excited to be involved with ski racing in New Zealand again. Erika is also on the Queenstown Alpine Ski Team committee.
