Growing up in Sweden  with her home just across the road from the nearest lift, skiing was a big part of Bella's young life, she began skiing at the age of two. As a youngster with school finishing at 1.30 Bella could ski with friends after school and have lots of adventures. Skiing off piste among the trees was her very favourite activity.

Her competitive career started on the race track but at the age of nine she switched from gates to moguls and instantly fell in love with the sport. Skiing in local competitions progressed to bigger events around Sweden and eventually some international comps. Bella achieved a fourth place in the Scandinavian Mogul Skiing Cup.

Bella moved to New Zealand at the age of 13 and skiing changed a lot for her. For starters, there were no moguls and she was also surprised by the long drive to the ski slopes and the lack of trees on the mountain. However,  the new terrain and lack of trees and moguls caused her to discover Freeride, which she is now very happy about! She soon began competing and finished second in the NZ Juniorr Freeride Tour in 2016. Bella was named to the NZ Freeride Team in 2017.
