Having grown up on a farm, Eliza has always loved the outdoors and following after her two older brothers always made her determined to do whatever they were able to do. So when Dad took the boys out skiing, Eliza (aged 22 months) refused to be left sitting in the cafe, even if it meant she needed to wear gear that was twice her size! She joined Team Hutt aged eight but has been training with Coberger Academy since 2013. She is a member of the New Zealand Ski Women's C Team.
