Snowboard NZ - Pathway

It is only through passion and dedication that snowboarders are able to excel and push the boundaries of personal achievement. Snowboard NZ provides the framework for pathways and support for all NZ snowboarders. We aim to produce excellence and a high element of achievement in order to provide a pinnacle for our sport.

Pathways are in place for athletes, coaches, judges and officials to keep the sport vibrant, and to ensure everyone reaches their potential nationally and internationally. Those just starting on the pathway can use our 3 Steps Programme to make certain you achieve best outcomes, the FUNdamentals programme to develop your skills, and the Progression Cards to monitor your progression of tricks.

We recognise that not everyone will become an elite level athlete and strive to facilitate a variety of pathways for NZ snowboarders from being a participant to pursuing a career in the Industry.
