Welcome to the Snow Sports NZ Website.
1. On-Line Purchase
1.1 On-Line Event registration
Registering for an on-line Event “item(s)” from Snow Sports NZs (SSNZ) website represents a binding order with SSNZ and the User agreeing to the Terms & Conditions as outlined below:
SSNZ shall confirm by way of e-mail, fax, post or telephone a “confirmation of order” without delay, normally within 48 hours detailing the Event “item(s)” purchased.
Purchase of an Event “item(s)” by the User does not guarantee the User an automatic “entry” even when the User receives a “confirmation of order” and payment has been processed. In the instance where an Event category is full the User will be notified shortly after, within 48 hours, of receiving “confirmation of order” and the User will be asked to indicate if the User would like to be “waitlisted”. In the instance where the Event or Event category “waitlist” is full the User will be notified without delay, normally within 48 hours, and a full refund will be made.
1.2 On-Line Purchase – Product(s): Payment, Freight & Ordering

Payment Methods
SSNZ is only able to accept Visa and Mastercard.
Customs and taxes
Some countries have import duties and taxes which are not covered by our freighting service. The User will need to enquire about these in your country. Please don't ask SSNZ to write anything on the outside of a parcel like "gifts only", as an organisation SSNZ cannot risk any legal repercussions.
Freight
SSNZ use Courier Post air parcel service which should get to you in 7 - 10 days internationally, 3-5 days nationally. A little longer for places further afield and during peak posting times. Track and Trace is extra. Please contact SSNZ for more information about rates for this. As a rough rule of thumb for a 2 kilogram parcel this would cost around $35NZ to common first world destinations.
Warranties & Refunds
All on-line product(s) are warranted to the original owner against faulty materials or workmanship for the life of the product, repairs or replacements are at SSNZ discretion. The warranty in no way limits the Users protection under relevant consumer protection legislation. Due to the high costs of freighting, and credit card charging, SSNZ does not accept returns other than for warranty purposes. Freight is non-refundable, if you need more details about colours and sizes before purchasing a product contact us for more details.
Refunds will only be made, in the unlikely circumstance that a shop item is shown as ‘in-stock’ but has been sold out and is not to be back-ordered. The User will be contacted and a full refund will be made either by credit card, electronic bank transfer or cheque.
2. Fees - Events
The User must pay SSNZ the Event “item fee(s)” as shown on the website for the successful arrangement of an entry spot. The fee(s) for an Event includes all pre-sale, system, administration and start fees as well as statutory Tax’s as is applicable and liable to SSNZ.
All Event entrants are responsible for their own International Federation licenses as is applicable for certain international events i.e. FIS licenses. SSNZ is not liable for including these license fee’s as part of any Event “item” fee’s.
There is no entitlement to reimbursement of the fees if the entrant does not take up the entry.
Should an Event be cancelled, or should changes be made to schedules following confirmation of entry, Event fees already paid will be reimbursed, less an administration fee in the sum of 5% of the fee for Event(s) purchased.
3. Changes in Online Items
3.1 Events
SSNZ reserves the right to make changes to the event venue, date or schedule as well as to cancel the Event. Changes in schedules at short notice can occur at sporting events. The User shall receive a notification by e-mail, fax or phone any changes to the event such as date/schedule changes or cancellations.
3.2 Products
Shop Items such as products may be changed at any time but is kept as current as possible however Snow Sports reserves the right to change colours, product prices or specifications at any time.
4. Event Participation Waiver, Release & Indemnification
It is mandatory for the User to read and sign the Event Participation Waiver, Release & Indemnification form, which will be e-mailed to the User as part of the Event athlete information pack and returned to SSNZ by way of e-mail, fax or by submitting at the Welcome/Registration night. The User (athlete) will not be permitted to start if SSNZ has not received this form.
5. Privacy Policy
SSNZ is committed to ensuring that the User’s privacy is protected. This Privacy Policy governs the collection, use and disclosure of the User’s personal information by SSNZ and has been prepared in accordance with SSNZ obligations and the User’s rights set out in the Privacy Act 1993. SSNZ reserve the right to modify or amend this Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason. By using this webiste the User consents to SSNZs use of the User’s personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy (as amended from time to time).
If applicable, a separate Privacy Policy governs the collection, use and disclosure of the User’s personal information by Associates for each Sub-website (Member Organisations Websites). The User should refer to the Privacy Policy available on each Sub-website for further details.

SSNZ collect only the personal information that is given by the User (including name, date of birth, occupation, email address, contact telephone numbers and credit card details if purchasing goods through the website).
2. Where SSNZ collect personal information from
SSNZ collect personal information from the following sources:
· From SSNZ Member Organisation listings.
· Directly when the User subscribes to the SSNZ newsletter, submit information for SSNZ website i.e. “Featured Athlete”, purchase any SSNZ products or register for a SSNZ Event(s).
· By the User sending SSNZ an email enquiring about information on SSNZ or anything on this website.
· Indirectly through the User’s use of this website and the services and functionality offered through it.
3. How SSNZ use personal information
SSNZ use the User’s personal information for the following purposes:
· Providing the User with information about SSNZ, National teams, current and relevant SSNZ news and SSNZ sponsors.
· Replying to the User’s queries.
· Purchasing products through the website.
· Posting information and messages on the website.
4. How SSNZ store personal information
SSNZ store personal information electronically and in paper form. The personal information is kept safe and secure using generally accepted standards of security.
5. How the User can access/amend their personal information
The User may access their personal information SSNZ hold by emailing SSNZ at admin@snowsports.co.nz. SSNZ will provide the User with a copy of their personal information SSNZ keep about the User.
The User may request that their personal information SSNZ hold be corrected by emailing SSNZ at admin@snowsports.co.nz. If SSNZ agree that the User’s personal information is to be corrected SSNZ will provide the User with an amended record of their personal information.
6. How long SSNZ hold personal information
SSNZ will keep User’s personal information only for as long as necessary to achieve the purpose SSNZ collected it for or until the User ask for the deletion of their personal information from SSNZ database.
